I’m Wendy, founder of Inspired Spaces Feng Shui, dedicated creator of beautiful and balanced environments that are in harmony with people and nature.
The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go and be accepted, restored, and have peace and well-being. A shelter for our bodies, minds, and spirits. For many, that notion of home seems distant and elusive, as does achieving their goals and dreams.
I started Inspired Spaces Feng Shui with one goal in mind – to help you deeply connect with your surroundings and your desires, and create a home where you feel energized, can express your creativity and uniqueness, manifest satisfying work and relationships and live your best, most meaningful life.
My Feng Shui Journey
I’m a graduate of the Western School of Feng Shui and a Certified Practitioner of Essential Feng Shui®.  I’m also a Red Ribbon member of the International Feng Shui Guild, and a member of the Welcoming Committee, where I have the privilege of connecting with practitioners world-wide.
My Feng Shui journey started very young, as a child in a very chaotic home. I found myself very sensitive to the energies of places, both indoors and out.  I cut out pictures of rooms and nature scenes which just made me feel good. I had no words to explain the draw to certain places and the need to avoid others.
I loved being outside and loved animals.  By 15, I was already working in the environment, in the Youth Conservation Corps. My passion grew and I obtained a B.S. in Wildlife Biology and a M.A. in Education. I spent over 30 years trying to make things better for both people and wildlife.  Sadly, after decades of hard work, the destruction of nature was even greater than when I started!  Very disheartening!
It's my belief that the destruction of the environment and the growing dissatisfaction I noticed in people all stemmed from the same thing – a disconnection from both nature and our essential selves. Enter Feng Shui! All schools of Feng Shui share the core principle of working with nature, rather than against it or trying to control it, to achieve our best, most satisfying lives. I continue to study with other practitioners and grow my understanding daily, just like my teachers and other Feng Shui masters. It’s a continuing journey for all of us. And now I get to share that journey with the world, starting with you!
